Things to Do
Fishing - Fishing is available, from the doorstep (five minutes), on the river Wharfe (day tickets), other local rivers and reservoirs a short drive away. Ghillie or guide available (booking required). Andrew has been fishing for 40 years and will be pleased to give you local information.
Festivals - Grassington Festival, Dickensian Christmas festival (first three weekends in December)
Walking - Many circular walks are possible directly from Lythe End and the Dales Way passes the house.

Sight Seeing - Grassington is very convenient for exploring the southern Dales, the Northern Dales are only an hour away. Harrogate, York and Leeds are also within reach.
